Land is Kin

Land is Kin is an experiment in bringing together the worlds of Science and Storytelling. A conduit for the voices of high mountain communities as they deal with the cascading hazards caused by climate change. The goal is to learn and disseminate valuable lessons about how governments, researchers and community members can work together, and with the landscape, to reduce the risk of catastrophic hazards. Join us as we go to the source of these hazards, exploring the ever-changing relationships between rock, ice, earth and humans. These elemental relationships can tell us ancient stories while warning us of future danger.
